We are very proud that we had the opportunity to get actively involved and support the Business Academy for Start-up Entrepreneurs (BASE) held in Veliko Tarnovo. BASE is a project of America for Bulgaria Foundation and Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria, supported by the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo and is an innovative, completely free training course.

Senior experts from PRESTIGE joined as lecturers at the academy and shared with young entrepreneurs their experience and knowledge in various areas of business. Nadezhda Dimitrova, marketing director of the team, was a lecturer in the module dedicated to prices and pricing. Magdalena Sergieva, HR Director, and Teodor Kostadinov, Legal Adviser, touched on important legal aspects in business and key labor issues.

The final of the Academy was held on November 30, 2021 in Veliko Tarnovo, where 24 participants defended their projects with dignity, believed even more in their ideas and were motivated for future professional success.

Darina Stoyanova, CEO of our company, presented the Grand Award for Entrepreneurship of PRESTIGE in the amount of BGN 1,000 to the Association „Samovodska Charshia“  for the establishment of the project „Craft Training Center“ in Veliko Tarnovo. The modern center should have a hall for theoretical classes, a hall for practical training, as well as an exhibition and sample hall for the presentation of finished products. There will be trainings in arts and crafts for pupils, students and people with an interest in crafts. Thematic exhibitions with works by master craftsmen will be organized, as well as open lessons, children’s workshops and others in order to promote and preserve traditional Bulgarian crafts.
