The health of our employees is a priority for us. That’s why, in the most feminine month of the year, we at PRESTIGE focused on the need for preventive check-ups and examinations for every woman. Together with our partners at Sinevo Bulgaria, we organized an educational webinar for all the ladies on the team. The topic was „Women’s Health and Self-Care“.

Our guest was Dr. Tsvetelina Velikova – a clinical immunologist and a consultant at the medical laboratories of Synevo Bulgaria. Dr. Velikova graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2010, defended her thesis in the field of immunology of the gastrointestinal tract in 2014. She has been a specialist in clinical immunology since 2016 and a Master of Public Health since 2017.

Why and how important is prevention for women’s health?

Regular check-ups and screenings are the key to good health and prevention in the long term. During the webinar, we discussed which tests are important, as well as when and how often based on age. Another important aspect of women’s health that we covered was the relationship between the immune system and hormones. Dr. Velikova gave valuable advice to all the ladies in the PRESTIGE team on how to optimize their immunity through diet, practical relaxation techniques, and the most important nutrients and dietary supplements.
